Conditions for a Valid Assure Swap

The following information is provided as a high-level overview to assist in understanding the swap validation process under the Assure program.

This summary is for guidance only. In all circumstances, the official Emesent Assure Program Terms take precedence.

Program Eligibility

  • You must have an active Assure subscription.
  • Coverage applies only to eligible models: Hovermap ST / ST-X, DJI M300 / M350, and FreeFly Astro Max.
    (Not covered: Hovermap 100, DJI M210).
  • The unit must be purchased directly from Emesent or an authorized reseller.
  • Proof of condition (“proof of life”) is required before Assure coverage starts.

Incident & Swap Conditions

  • You must submit an Assure Swap Request with Emesent Client Support.
  • If the swap request is the result of an aircraft incident while using Hovermap in Pilot Assist or Autonomy, you are encouraged to provide mission details.
    • Incident data can be provided separately through the Report Aircraft Incident form.
    • If the unit is not recoverable, Commander logs must be provided.
  • The unit must be damaged, not lost, stolen, or intentionally destroyed.

Shipping Conditions

  • Emesent must receive the damaged unit or at least confirmation of shipment (tracking details) before sending an Assure replacement.
  • Customers have 5 business days to initiate the return of the damaged unit.
  • Round-trip shipping is covered under Assure, but local duties/taxes (outside Australia) are not.
  • If you ship a unit before Emesent approves the claim or provides shipping, it may be processed as a standard RMA instead, and costs will not be reimbursed.

Replacement & Ownership

  • Replacement units are refurbished, fully tested, and performance-guaranteed, but may have cosmetic imperfections.
  • The replacement unit becomes your property, and the returned unit becomes Emesent’s property.
  • Accessories are not automatically included; they may incur review and additional cost.
  • The replacement inherits the remaining warranty of the original unit.

Usage & Limitations

  • Swap allowances depend on your plan:
    • 2 swaps/year or Unlimited.
    • Each shipment counts as one swap.
  • Subject to fair usage policy: excessive or repeated claims may trigger review or suspension.
  • Loss, theft, or non-return of a unit results in charges equal to its value.
  • No liability: Emesent is not responsible for downtime, lost revenue, or indirect damages.

Agreement & Terms

  • Customers must sign and agree to the Assure swap agreement.
  • Program terms may be amended at any time by Emesent.
  • Governed by Australian law.
