How is Assure different from standard support?

How can I purchase Assure?
Assure is available as a subscription, either directly from Emesent or through authorized partners.
How much does Assure cost?
Pricing depends on coverage level (2 swaps per year or unlimited), deployment scale, and service tier. Contact Emesent or regional Emesent partner for a tailored quote.
Does Assure replace my subscription or support plan?
No. Assure is an additional service that complements your existing Emesent subscription or support plan.
What is required to start using Assure?
An active Assure subscription is required. Once enrolled, you can log incidents via a support ticket, and the replacement process begins immediately.
Is internet access required?
Yes. Internet access is required to log incidents and coordinate replacements. Hovermap’s scanning operations remain fully offline-capable.
How quickly does Assure become active?
Coverage begins immediately after purchase, with replacements typically dispatched within two business days of logging an incident.
Can I choose between Hovermap-only and Hovermap + Drone coverage?
Yes. Assure is available as Hovermap-only coverage, or as combined Hovermap + Drone coverage depending on your needs.
How many swaps are included with Assure?
You can choose from two subscription levels: 2 swaps per year or unlimited swaps.
What condition are the replacement units in?
All replacement units are refurbished and tested to meet full performance standards. They may show minor cosmetic differences, but functionality is equivalent to new.
Do I keep the replacement unit?
Yes. With Assure, you take full ownership of the replacement unit once it arrives.
Are accessories included with replacements?
Replacements cover Hovermap units or Hovermap + Drone packages. Accessories may vary by region and service agreements.
Are shipping costs included?
Yes. All shipping is included with Assure. Import duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
How do I request a replacement under Assure?
Log an incident with Emesent support, provide the required flight data, and ship the damaged unit. A refurbished replacement will be dispatched within two business days.
Is Assure available if I already own Hovermap?
Yes. Assure can be purchased at the time of sale, during your warranty period, or after repairs.
Does Assure cover all drones?
Yes. Replacement units are compatible with both DJI and FreeFly drones.
What happens if my unit is damaged more than the subscription covers?
If you are on the 2 swaps per year plan, additional incidents can be handled through standard repair processes, or you can upgrade to unlimited coverage.
