Mission Inaccessible

It’s your mission – but we’d love to accept it

Emesent Hovermap has been mapping the inaccessible for years, constantly pushing the limits of 3D data capture in challenging GPS-denied environments.

From cavernous stopes deep beneath the earth to remote forests, from well-known architectural marvels to blockbuster movies like the one pictured above – Emesent’s SLAM-based mobile LiDAR scanning technology has delivered exceptional detail and accuracy while saving time and keeping people safe.

Thanks for your interest!

Pyramids

Country: Egypt

Agent: Jeremy

The Bent Pyramid — one of Egypt’s oldest and most mysterious structures — was scanned using Emesent Hovermap in just 23 minutes. A unique example of early pyramid development in Egypt, this ancient pyramid (originally called Sneferu is Shining in the South) was the second of four pyramids built by Sneferu. It is recognized by its visibly bent appearance.

Brooklyn Bridge

Country: USA

Agent: Stefan

This scan of the Brooklyn Bridge was captured using an Emesent Hovermap ST-X. Emesent co-founder and CSO Stefan Hrabar walked with Emesent Hovermap around the base on the Brooklyn side and then along the pedestrian level over to Manhattan and back. This iconic structure was opened in 1883 and was the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time, spanning 1,595 feet (486m).

Mega Cave

Country: Australia

Agent: Farid

The Carrapateena mine in South Australia is one of the largest copper reserves in the world. Autonomous scanning of a predicted surface breakthrough at Carrapateena copper reserve in 2023 ensured both the continued safety of mine personnel and the stability of operations.
